Part of the content from “Prints as Prints 2001-2” exhibition agenda.
The concept from this exhibition inspired by both outer and inner surrounding which influenced on artist’s works. It could be artist experienced even though it derived from outer environment, still the artist must created an awareness and feeling towards what it may came across their minds. The words “inner – outer” was not a definite limit in this learning content, it was only my categories for better understanding of this artist group. In this content declared my thought towards the works in which might not an aim for the artist purpose of doing or it might have different interpretation from other audiences. Though, it is a good quality and it made art more appreciative.
From the exhibition, Sukhum Nakpradith’s works was regarded to be the most personal; it showed the artist painful experienced with his family. I grew up from a loving family therefore never experienced or felt unaccompanied as a child who suffers from father absent. When I first saw Sukhum’s works my feeling felt like it was uncomfortable and under pressure. It was like we saw someone with a great suffer except we could not perceive in the most greatest pain lies within his fathomless mind, worse we could not even help. I thought when Sukhum transferred his suffering into his art then it might be a way of expressing and recovering his wounded heart no matter how less, only hope it might aids his pain during his journey with his art.

Part of the content from “Prints as Prints 2002” exhibition agenda.
Catagorise by the type of work, work of art from Sukhum could not related to anything in religious believe especially his inner feelingtowards his perish father. However, the development of his works considered his previous exhibition, it was convey sorrow and hurtful. In this exhibition, the expression of pain was decrease according to time pass and maturity of artist himself. Sukhum has gained a lot more sensible thought and new perspective in seeing life not only from one angle. It could be compared to print making work using 3 dimensional that perspective has been used to communicate the time distances. The aspect of work showed a transformation of artist emotion, it was a positive development, be regarded as a first step to the path to religious as well.
